We all have read the nursery poem about that itsy bitsy spider, the one who exemplifies #Grit. That spider is focused on the problem at hand and despite #challenges, #failures and #roadblocks, the spider keeps on going till he reaches the top of that spout.
#Grit for us is about believing in ourselves and our ideas. We stand in awe of human potential and are firm believers of the old saying, " Where there is will, there is a way!". It is about falling in love with the problems that we are solving while being steel cold and objective about the approaches and solutions that we try. When an approach doesn't work, our #Grit calls us to switch to a different approach. #Grit for us is not to lose hope when we fail. We treat our failures as learning opportunities.
#Grit encourages us to look at this world as full of #opportunities that are waiting to be realized! At #PBJAM, we always say that we make our own luck and a large part of that belief is our #Grit.
Our approaches and platform is built around our #values. With #Grit, we encourage the participants to open their minds to possibilities about who they can be as #professionals. We dare them to confront the #problems they are facing. We help them to #focus on verbalizing what #progress looks like for them. Our #SMARTsteps transform their dreams into concrete, actionable steps and create a positive feedback loop that fuels their #Grit about being better, one week at a time!
